An MSP and his tree
September 11, 2011
I'm proud to share news of my recent trip to the Scottish Parliament to present one of my pictures to Neil Findlay, MSP for the Lothians. It will hang in his office - one of those Miralles designed ones with the cosy 'thinkpod', although as we saw on the tour that Neil and his researcher Tommy kindly gave, there's not much wall space. Being a Labour MSP, Neil was attracted to the red colour of this work, which is inspired by a very large beech pollard I found near Inverness. Thanks to Neil and Tommy for a memorable day, I hope the picture gives Neil some creative inspiration for the legislative process.
