Events

Sometimes it's good to try something different.  There are times when you need a fresh approach in order to challenge and inspire.

My work can provide this creative element at conferences, gatherings or networking events, giving you activities which:

  • encourage delegates to meet, speak and create a dialogue
  • focus and record debate
  • engage participants in making a joint 'product'
  • communicate effectively to large numbers of people
  • provide a method to evaluate the event

I listen closely to clients to identify a visual metaphor which encapsulates the theme of their event.  Ideas for the artwork are then developed and agreed with the client.

The artworks themselves will vary according to the constraints of time, space, numbers of people and funds.  They often involve enabling many individuals to make small elements which are then combined to create a group artwork representing the theme.  The emphasis is on participation and inclusion – encouraging participants to do what they can, not worry about how 'good' it is.
