Works made in woodland locations capturing the essence and the energy of the tree. These drawings are grounded in close observation but also carry memories of the emotional connection I feel with the tree as a living entity. These cold, quiet and contemplative drawing days during the winter and spring months are the foundation for all my artwork. 2021-22
