What people say
‘Tansy made everything accessible, none of the challenges she set were out of reach, but just far enough out of my comfort zone that I had to stretch myself and my knowledge to accomplish them. I came away feeling more confident and with ideas, plus the skills and curiosity to make more marks.’ Paul
‘Tansy knows her materials and subject matter so well and is great at sharing this with other people whatever level they are at. The course was well paced and I look forward to putting into practice what I’ve learned.’ Steph
‘I think it is invaluable to be with a teacher/tutor whose work is constantly evolving and who is so good at explaining this. As a teacher Tansy is very warm and generous, sharing her thinking, experiences and tools from feathers to hogweed charcoal holders. She share’s so much of her own thinking and expertise and this makes her a very supportive and skilled teacher.’ Lynne
‘I’ve been discovering what charcoal can do for the last 15 years and am still finding new ways to draw with it. If you’d like to develop your charcoal drawing skills and confidence with the support of an experienced tutor and practising charcoal artist, I’d love to help you learn!’ Tansy
