Now showing in Liverpool
I’m very pleased that my charcoal drawing ‘Cascade’ was selected for the Drawing (Paper) Show at Bridewell Studios in Liverpool this summer. It was chosen from an international open call to be included in this exhibition and publication of contemporary drawings.
I travelled to Liverpool for the opening event and was really impressed with the range and quality of the works – curators Jon Barraclough, Sarah Jane Richards, Colette Lilley and Mike Carney have done a fantastic job putting the show and newspaper style catalogue together. I came away from the night feeling energised and inspired by the breadth and imagination of this community of artists who draw.
The team are running drawing events in conjunction with the exhibition (details here) and it’s part of the wider Liverpool Biennial Arts Festival.
The show runs until 13th August.
